The 6-foot-5 guard signed a two-way deal with the Celtics in October, but he has yet to suit up for Boston this season.
Langford illness will be available for Wednesday's game against Toronto. A non-COVID illness caused Langford to be scratched from Saturday's game against Dallas, but he's since recovered and will be back to availability after three days off.
With Jaylen Brown hamstring sidelined, Langford could be set for an increased role over the next handful of games. In his last appearance Thursday at MIA , Langford saw a season-high 27 minutes and posted 12 points, two rebounds, two threes and an assist. Brown is expected to miss 1-to-2 weeks with a hamstring injury, so Schroder should see plenty of opportunities over the Celtics ' four-game Week 5 slate next week.
