What kind of conservative are you

Government regulation of business is necessary to protect the public interest OR Government regulation of business usually does more harm than good. Poor people today have it easy because they can get government benefits without doing anything in return OR Poor people have hard lives because government benefits don't go far enough to help them live decently.

The government should do more to help needy Americans, even if it means going deeper into debt OR The government today can't afford to do much more to help the needy.

The position of blacks in American society has improved in recent years OR There hasn't been much real progress for blacks in recent years. Racial discrimination is the main reason why many black people can't get ahead these days OR Blacks who can't get ahead in this country are mostly responsible for their own condition. Immigrants today strengthen our country because of their hard work and talents OR Immigrants today are a burden on our country because they take our jobs, housing, and health care.

Other countries generally treat the United States about as fairly as we treat them OR Other countries often take unfair advantage of the United States. The best way to ensure peace is through military strength OR Good diplomacy is the best way to ensure peace. We should all be willing to fight for our country, whether it is right or wrong OR It's acceptable to refuse to fight in a war you believe is morally wrong. Most people who want to get ahead can make if they're willing to work hard OR Hard work and determination are no guarantee success for most people.

Just so you know, a conservative is not supposed to like preserved wetlands, a clean environment and fair wages for workers if they get in the way of the American greenback and its prolific multiplication, along with flag waving.

A liberal is not supposed to like a successful corporation, a strong army, fiscal discipline and a competitive market if they get in the way of kissing and hugging, along with flower waving.

I usually feel like…. There is at least one candidate who shares most of my views. None of the candidates represent my views well. In general, how much do White people benefit from advantages in society that Black people do not have?

Very good for society. Somewhat good for society. Neither good nor bad for society. Somewhat bad for society. Very bad for society. Overall, would you say people who are convicted of crimes in this country serve….

Too much time in prison. Too little time in prison. About the right amount of time in prison. Religion should be kept separate from government policies.
